2025 年，北藝新媒體藝術學系第二次進駐科技藝術館的專業場域，以「MUSHBOOM! game over」為題，試圖突破展演形式與空間的既有框架。本次系展以遊戲機檯為核心概念，探索多元展示的可能性，並挑戰創作模式的極限。除了透過徵件選出優秀作品，部分展品更由策展團隊精心規劃，以多層次的策展視角，展現當代新媒體藝術的豐富樣貌。

此次展覽更結合了由北藝新媒系學生經營的 DJ 與區塊鏈社群，並舉辦多場講座與工作坊，邀請觀眾共同參與，深化體驗並拓展新媒體藝術的創作與交流方式。這樣的多元實驗，旨在打破藝術與技術之間的界線，開創新的對話可能。

「MUSHBOOM! game over」這個展名，不是基於作品內容或風格命名，而是以一個毫無邏輯的情境題挑戰既定框架。作為站在國內科技藝術前沿的學術單位，我們致力於顛覆與重構對藝術創作的傳統定義。這場展覽呈現出新媒系學生如何將日常思考中的反叛精神，轉化為創作動能，並重新定義觀看與參與的形式。

透過這個理念，我們將科技藝術館轉化為思想場域，不僅是作品展示的空間，更是創作者與觀眾交流、碰撞與對話的平台。這是一場對既定規則的挑戰與藝術實驗，也是對未來展覽模式的積極探索。

In 2025, the Department of New Media Art at Taipei National University of the Arts makes its second appearance at the National Taiwan Science and Technology Museum, presenting the exhibition 'MUSHBOOM! game over'—an endeavor to break free from conventional frameworks of exhibition format and spatial boundaries. Centered around the imagery of arcade machines, the exhibition explores diverse modes of presentation and challenges the limits of creative practice. In addition to an open call for submissions, several featured works are curated by the organizing team, offering a multifaceted curatorial perspective that reflects the richness of contemporary new media art.

This year's exhibition also incorporates initiatives led by New Media Art students, including a student-run DJ collective and blockchain community. A series of talks and workshops invites public participation, deepening the audience's engagement while expanding the possibilities for new media creation and dialogue. This multidimensional experiment seeks to dissolve the boundaries between art and technology, forging new paths of interdisciplinary exchange.

The title 'MUSHBOOM! game over' is intentionally illogical—structured as a surreal scenario rather than derived from the content or aesthetics of the works. As a department situated at the forefront of technological art in Taiwan, we aim to subvert and reconstruct traditional definitions of artistic practice. This exhibition embodies how students channel everyday reflections and rebellious energies into creative expression, ultimately redefining the act of seeing and participating.
