聲音藝術表演簡介  A brief introduction to sound art performance


第六屆大內藝術節「Its SHOW time」邀請到台灣聲音藝術先鋒王福瑞,以及兩位新生代聲響藝術家胡哲豪及魏廷宇,分別帶來作品「電離波動」、「黑底白字 Code」及「候見廳 Antichambre」,即將展演一場聲xx電結合的表演,透過電子、聲音也透過身體的律動節奏,詮釋新一代的實驗聲響。聲響藝術不斷在拓展著聲音無邊界的空間表現與想像,利用數位訊息的方式轉譯語言,搭配著聲光裝置的高速律動及視覺,創造一個屬於當下的全席感官。


“It’s SHOW time” 2019 Taipei Art District Festival invited Taiwan’s sound art pioneer Fujui Wang, and two next generations of sound artists Hudi Hu and Tim Wei, presenting an experimental sound performance comprised by elements of sound, light and electricity. Through the electronic device and sound, along with the rhythm of body movement, the performance will expand the spatial expression and imagination of sound, creating a full sensory experience.



  

 
 

Q1.  這次的表演你做了什麼?



福瑞老師的『電離波動』運用了指向喇叭將聲音反射在空間中如同光的反射,擴展了音源多向性,把聲音搬離出舞台,聲音將回歸到最原初的感官感受,廷宇學長候見廳」借用佛洛依德理論形容潛意識及意識之間的空間概念,打造出獨特的聲光裝置,創造一個只屬於當下的全息感官。


『黑底白字』是我這次的表驗作品,我將肢體動作結合穿戴電弧裝置,發出類似摩斯密碼節奏的聲響,將裝置聲響焊接進音樂劇情中, 在表演中演出段落與段落之間重疊編排,掌握觀眾感官的節奏實驗跳耀式的展演狀態像是非時間線性的在引領觀眾。 


Mr.Wang’s project “Hollow Noise” used a directional speaker to make sound waves reflect in space such as light, which expanded the dimensions of sound. By moving sound out of the stage, the sound will return to the most original senses. Mr.Wei’s “Antichambre” used an unique sound-light device to describe Freud's theory of the concept of space between subconsciousness and consciousness, creating a “holographic sensation” which only existed in that peculiar time.

My project “Code” combined body movements and wearable arc devices, which imitates the sound of morse codes. By deconstructing and constructing the paragraphs of my performance and blending various sounds and rhythm into the performance, I aim to control audiences’ rhythm of senses in my performance, and guide audience without a conventional time concept.



2. 這次參與創作所做的表演,與以往創作有什麼樣的關係呢?


在『黑底白字』的聲音表演中,自己的身體就是作品的材料之一,以往創作作品都站在第三視角在思考作品觀看作品,表演前的彩排無法具體看見自己跟作品是否在對的位子上。我需要藉由錄影的方式或其他人來協助自己與作品建立對的連結,好比操偶師般,將自己與木偶的角色融合在一起。回到非表演的創作,對比我的另一個作品 動力裝置《電光浴 Arc Bath  同樣以「電」為媒材,將下意識的想像搬到現實中的理性製作後,作品所代表的是在那個當下創作者所付出的時間心力,保留創作者在某一段時期的狀態,等同創作者生命的一部分,像是創作者的靈魂碎片,作品像是創作者的分靈體。


The difference is that I have also become an element of my work. In my previous works, I often tend to think about the work objectively and also watching the work. Especially when rehearsing, it is difficult to see if I’m on the right position in the project. I need to use a video recorder or other people to help me to establish a right connection with the work, like a puppeteer, integrating myself with the role of a puppet. 

Comparing to my other work, Arc Bath, using the same medium to move the subconscious imagination into the rational production of reality, the work represents the efforts of the current creators, retaining the creator in a certain period of time. Which is equivalent to a part of the creator's life, like a piece of soul of the artist.

這是一個穿戴式的電弧裝置

 

近代語⾔中,語意與語⾳的⼒量被分離開,當⽂字脫離了⾝體與情感,成為反控⼈類的⼯具,暗號的出現使得不⽤依靠⾔語表達形式。將訊息發送⼝移轉⾄動作或非⼈聲響,如同摩斯密碼般,時通時斷的訊號代碼,序列性態度成為在這個展演中的主要狀態,將資訊的最原始能量與⾝體重新統合,呈現⼀場對數位訊息建制化的解構⾏動。


In modern language, the power of semantics and speech can be separated. When the words are separated from the body and emotions, they become a tool against human beings. The appearance of the cipher makes it possible to send messages without relying on verbal expressions. Message can be sent through body language or any other non-verbal expression, like the Morse code. Through the time-and-break signal code, an orderly attitude becomes the main state in this performance, re-integrating the most primitive energy of the information with the body and present a dismantling action on the information.

胡哲豪 Zhe-Hao Hu


台灣台北,1998

專長為聲音藝術、複合媒體及空間裝置,多以探尋機體韻律捕捉感覺形象,或超越有機體之外的將感官感覺和觀者意識連結起來。過去作品為繪畫形式,探討土地、能量、引力,後續創作依據三個方向回到人的身體,拆解人的感官感覺,突破機體限制並提取感官接口。

Zhe-Hao Hu, born in 1998 Taipei, Taiwan.


Specialize in Sound art , multimedia and space installation. His works are mostly based on finding the rhythm of organism and capture their form and then create connections between these elements with the spectators. The early stage of his work are paintings, focusing on the land, natural energy and how to create attraction and the weight of paintings. By using complex media, he brings the three subjects above to associate with human body. He deconstructs peoples sense of feelings and discovered the connection by breaking through human limits.
